Dana got to Pouss today. There may be some communication issues as Dana tried calling me twice this morning but the calls were dropped. Joan called me to say she received a text from Dana wondering if texts were getting through to me. I have texted Dana today but not heard anything. There was so much contact the first 2 days with a bit less on the 3rd day, that I am really feeling the separation. I kept checking my phone and email today at work.
Today I got the first dose of being a single parent. Finishing laundry, breakfasts, snack, chores, drop-off at school...my own shower. It was chaotic! I guess I need to get up a bit earlier.
Well, that's all for now...I'm at karate with the kids so I think I need to focus on them. When in doubt, circle the wagon around family.
